Sr. Project Manager Senior (Healthcare)

Description

We’re looking for our next bold leader – a Senior Project Manager (Healthcare) – to provide market-transforming solutions for businesses, care teams and consumers to interactively manage health and care.

What We're Looking For

To be successful as the Senior Project Manager will understand what a customer centric organization entails and be able to infuse that ideology in your contributions. On a given day you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, implementing, and completing projects across multiple workstreams. This role demands a high level of expertise in project management methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Previous experience working with Utilization Management and/or Care Management platforms in healthcare is required for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Leadership and Development
Lead and motivate project teams across multiple workstreams and business entities, ensuring high levels of performance.
Provide project team members with the direction and support needed to achieve their goals.
Project Planning and Strategy
Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
Outline the resources required for each project, including time, money, equipment, and people.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Execution and Governance
Direct project execution as outlined in the project plan, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

Reporting and Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, healthcare, or a related field with equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects or workstreams.
Required experience working in healthcare technology on Utilization Management or Care Management software platforms: ie Medecision and/ or Elligint Health (Helios platform).
PMP certification is strongly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, resource allocation, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience with leading a project through various stages of ideation, development, integration, and commercialization.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Demonstrated experience with client-facing interactions and excellent communication skills.
Ability to take direction from leadership and implement organizational strategies.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g. MS Project, Basecamp, Trello).
