Educational Content Team
At Lillio, our Educational Content Team is a high-performing, experienced team committed to elevating the quality of early childhood education. We aim to equip educators with a curriculum solution that promotes children’s curiosity and ignites the spark for lifelong learning. We also support educators with exemplary professional development offerings that promote reflective practice. We value research, adaptability, and resourcefulness.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Manager of Educational Content, you will be a linchpin in ensuring the excellence and effectiveness of our curriculum and professional development offerings. Your daily rhythm will involve a keen eye for detail, providing constructive feedback on print and digital resources, and making crucial content and workflow decisions that directly impact our educational products. You will monitor deadlines and proactively address potential roadblocks to keep projects on track. 

On a monthly basis, your focus will broaden to encompass strategic oversight of our curriculum planning and the practical elements that bring it to life. From reviewing planning grids and art projects to ensuring the quality and appropriateness of materials, your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the learning experience. You will lend your editorial expertise to curriculum guides and accompanying materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy, and you will manage contractor assignments with efficiency. Furthermore, you will contribute to the dynamic nature of our online resources and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our professional development course catalogue, keeping it relevant and aligned with evolving state and licensing standards.

Annually, you will be a key participant in shaping our long-term vision. You will work with a broader product team to develop the content strategy, setting priorities and allocating resources to drive innovation. You will spearhead the research of new curriculum resources. You will oversee the creation of essential annual curriculum components and orchestrate curriculum planning meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Your ability to analyze feedback, coordinate with various teams, and manage critical print production processes will be essential to a successful curriculum cycle. You will also champion our professional development initiatives by contributing to training development and potentially presenting at industry events.

What You Bring to The Table
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.5+ years experience in curriculum development, review, and implementation. A deep understanding of early childhood education principles, best practices, and learning theories. Proven experience with adult learning theories and applications. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a passion for supporting and developing team members. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong editorial skills; a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term planning. Familiarity with state early learning standards and accreditation processes (e.g., IACET).

Required Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign Strong Microsoft Office & Google Workspace Familiarity with Articulate Rise and Docebo
