OVERVIEW

In this exciting position, the content translator will localize, translate, and adapt music lyrics and related content while adhering to the writing style guide and guidelines.

Main Duties

Perform linguistic quality assessments of translated audiovisual content from English (en-US) to German (de-CH).

Identify and correct linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology and style.

Provide detailed feedback to translators and create quality reports.

Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and glossaries.

Use CAT tools to review and assess translations.

Manage weekly capacity to handle 2000 - 5000 words per locale and ensure timely task completion.

Requirements

BS/BA in linguistic, translation, musicology, music production, music business, or related fields.

2+ years of work experience in translation, linguistic, copy-writing, or copy-editing.

Deep understanding of various music genres, especially Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop (R’n’B)

Extensive knowledge and passion for POP
