About the Role:
REEA Global is seeking a seasoned UI/UX Design Lead to serve as the anchor of ther global design efforts—leading from the front with hands-on design execution and strategic input. You'll collaborate with a distributed team of designers in Romania, engineers in Uruguay, and U.S.-based product and technology leads, while partnering directly with clients across multiple time zones.
This role blends execution with leadership. You’ll guide the full design lifecycle across web and mobile interfaces from early discovery and stakeholder alignment to refined UI handoff. You’ll also shape and evolve internal design systems, establish UX standards, and be the cross-functional glue connecting design, development, and product strategy.

About the Company:
REEA Global is a custom software and AI development services firm specializing in solutions for mid-market companies owned by private equity (PE) firms. We work across industries and across the investment lifecycle—from newly acquired platforms to mature portfolio companies preparing for exit.
Their reputation is built on delivering high-impact solutions in complex environments, including:
- AI Agents & Custom LLM Applications
- AI-Enabled Workflow Automation
- Legacy System Modernization
- Post-Merger System Integrations
- Data Consolidation & Visualization
- UX Research and Front-End Redesigns

Responsibilities:
  • Lead client workshops to understand business objectives and user needs
  • Translate client requirements into actionable design strategies
  • Produce clean, client-ready design documentation with strong rationale and visual clarity
  • Drive the full design lifecycle: research, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Uphold accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508) across design phases
  • Own and evolve REEA ’s design system and shared component libraries
  • Conduct design QA and support front-end engineers during implementation
  • Work with REEA Global marketing and business development to develop digital collateral, including website enhancements.
  • Partner closely with U.S. product leads, global developers, and designers
  • Provide mentorship, critique, and feedback loops to ensure consistent quality
  • Act as a key point of connection across product, engineering, and design
  • Draft and maintain design timelines and ticket breakdowns in Jira

  • Work within Agile and iterative design processes, delivering incremental value at each stage
  • Stay current on design tools, trends, and technologies
  • Integrate analytics, usability findings, and stakeholder feedback to refine designs

  • Deep understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508) and experience integrating them from concept to delivery.
