Job Summary:
The Manager, Performance Marketing role will be responsible for running and developing paid digital strategies for NMG’s largest retail customers. The position requires managing specific key accounts and implementing leading digital technologies. In addition, this role will help support and mentor Level 1 & 2 Digital Marketing Specialists to ensure their success and continued development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently develop media plans aligned with strategic client goals
- Proactively make campaign optimization and strategy recommendations to improve ROAS based on analysis of performance metrics and results
- Analyze and communicate insights to clients based on campaign reports
- Identify opportunities for new strategies, A/B testing, or any other ideas that can enhance performance.
- Check all client services and media billing for accuracy and review against estimate(s)
- Participate in client proposals, and new business pitches
- Develop campaign budgets and recommended project scopes in collaboration with project manager, design team and website team.
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and support for client campaigns
- Lead the presentation of campaign results and actions taken to successfully manage campaigns
- Support other Digital Marketing Strategists and Web Services teams as needed
- Prioritize tasks and manage time appropriately to meet inflexible deadlines
- Oversee key channel-level functions including research, audits, ad development, training, optimization and more in Facebook, Google Ads, display and emerging media channels
- Help foster a culture of continuous learning within the Digital team.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing or related digital marketing course
- Average Account Budget $75k+
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing
- Ability to manage all aspects of client campaigns including but not limited to: strategy, campaign creation, ad copywriting, keyword research, budget pacing.
- Ability to create strategic briefs and media plans
- Must be able to communicate campaign results with members.
- Certified in Google Search, Display, Video, and Shopping Ads.
- Experience managing advertising budgets of $50,000+
- Experience managing 5+ clients concurrently
- Confident, concise and clear client communication, especially when potential problems arise.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize and be adaptable to change
- Understanding of reporting and tracking methods for digital marketing media
- Experience in conversion configuration (e.g. CAPI, GTM) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Proficient in Google Data Studio and/or other relevant reporting platforms

Work Environment:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
