Job Title:Implementation IT Assistant (Systems Integration & SharePoint) Schedule: Part -time, Monday - Friday with flexible schedule between 9-5PM PST 20 hours per week with a possibility to go 40 hours per week in the long run
Position Overview
We are seeking an Implementation IT Assistant to support the deployment and integration of new business systems across our organization. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SharePoint, a strong understanding of IT system life cycles, and a knack for working across departments to ensure smooth technical roll outs.
Responsibilities
System Implementation & Integration
Assist in the planning, configuration, and rollout of new software systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management, HR systems).
Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue tracking.
Facilitate data migration and transformation during system cutovers.
Work with IT and vendor partners to support system integration (e.g., API setup, SSO, identity management).
Support HR and health and safety by onboarding and offboarding staff into various platforms
SharePoint & Collaboration Tools
Build and maintain SharePoint Online team sites, document libraries, workflows, and permissions.
Migrate legacy data into SharePoint and ensure user adoption through training and support.
Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate, Teams, and OneDrive.
Documentation & Support
Document configuration, processes, and best practices for new systems.
Create internal training materials and provide support to end users.
Track and manage issues post-go-live and escalate as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of hands-on experience with system implementation projects.
Working knowledge of SharePoint (esp. Online) and Microsoft 365 environment.
Experience supporting rollouts of business systems (e.g., accounting software, CRMs, HRIS).
Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Knowledge of workflows, basic scripting (PowerShell, Power Automate), or basic SQL a plus.
