Job description

The BlueCare team is looking for a Performance Improvement Consultant to drive impactful change through creativity, innovation, and analytical thinking. This role involves crafting member and provider communications and developing content from inception to execution that will be used for population health outreach initiatives. You’ll collaborate with Brand Voice, help oversee our digital tools and work with our Quality areas on NCQA and EQRO, ensuring high-quality content so that we make a real difference.

You’ll be an ideal match for this role if you have:

  • BlueCare experience, strong research skills, and the ability to analyze data for effective content creation.
  • Attention to detail, collaboration, and project management are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication.

Reporting experience using Cognos/SharePoint/SQL or Excel is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct and recommend actions designed to achieve quality and productivity improvement goals; implement quality improvement processes and infrastructures including related deliverables for the program (Program Description, Annual Quality Work Plan, Annual Program Evaluation and Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs)).
  • Manages the day-to-day operational scope and various aspects of projects by analyzing current processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, examine and analyze program reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.  Coordinate delivery of data and information within the company for use in document review.
  • Identifies, analyzes and tracks all quality measures outliers and collaborates with Team to ensure an appropriate action plan is implemented to achieve improved performance.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 2 years - Project management, account management or similar experience required
  • 4 years - Experience in the healthcare industry required

Skills\Certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective and concise presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational and research skills
