This role requires a hands-on expert with deep knowledge of enterprise and data center network infrastructure. You will play a key part in maintaining high availability, improving automation, and ensuring operational excellence in a global environment.
Implement and support complex network infrastructures (greenfield and brownfield deployments)
Configure Cisco and other networking devices and services, including monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG)
Maintain high network availability (target 99.95%) and resolve incidents in line with SLAs
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on network-related issues
Automate routine operations using tools like Python and Ansible
Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and vendors to ensure seamless network operations
Provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical network alerts
5+ years of experience as a network engineer in enterprise or data center environments
Strong expertise with Cisco hardware (Catalyst, Nexus, Firepower)
Deep knowledge of protocols: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN EVPN, GRE, L2TP, IPSEC, STP (MSTP/RSTP), LACP, vPC
Experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Python, Ansible, or similar tools for network automation
Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP); hybrid architectures a plus
Working knowledge of Linux, Hyper-V, VMware networking
CCNP, JNCIP or equivalent level of certification or experience
Soft skills required:
English level B2 or higher
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
Emotional resilience and calm under pressure
Collaborative mindset and openness to continuous learning
