Project Overview
As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the evolution of a custom Salesforce environment through strategic platform enhancements, system integration initiatives, and compliance with enterprise-grade security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Enhancements: Translate business requirements into Salesforce capabilities; drive the implementation of new features, manage defect resolution, and optimize platform usability.
Security & Compliance: Apply and audit Salesforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
API Integration Management: Oversee REST-based integrations using JSON payloads, enabling efficient bi-directional data flow between Salesforce and external applications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure solution delivery aligns with strategic business goals.
Technical Competencies
Expertise in Salesforce ecosystem: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce configuration: custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and declarative automation (e.g., Flow).
Solid grasp of Salesforce security architecture: roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
Proficient in report and dashboard creation, ensuring actionable insights for decision-makers.
Experience with data models, cleansing strategies, and data migrations within Salesforce environments.
Hands-on experience working with integration protocols: REST, SOAP, JSON, and API lifecycle.
Familiarity with middleware solutions and scalable integration patterns.
Strong command of SOQL and working knowledge of SQL for cross-system data validation.
Analytical & Functional Expertise
Skilled in eliciting and documenting requirements via interviews, workshops, and stakeholder analysis.
Proficient in process mapping, user story development, and functional specifications.
Ability to perform detailed gap analyses and craft tailored solutions bridging technical capabilities with business objectives.
Experienced in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating business-critical use cases.
High proficiency in synthesizing complex problems into structured, solution-oriented deliverables.
