Overview:
The EMEA Payroll Specialist will manage and support the full payroll administration for the
EMEA region, with a primary focus on the UK and Germany, and provide backup coverage for
Spain, France and US payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll changes in the ADP Celergo system, including onboarding paperwork,  department transfers, salary updates, terminations, benefit adjustments and Pension uploads. Ensure all changes are accurately captured by payroll deadlines in coordination with the HR Administration team.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all EMEA payroll  queries, resolving issues promptly.
  • Identify and drive improvements to payroll-related processes, tools, and reporting, with support from the Payroll Manager.
  • Record payroll transactions in the general ledger and reconcile payroll accounts in collaboration with Finance and business units.
  • Maintain monthly payroll reconciliations, verifying data consistency with previous periods.
  • Create and publish payroll timetables to ensure compliance by all payroll providers.
  • Maintain data integrity across all payroll systems and adhere to rigorous process controls to minimise errors.
  • Continuously implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll inquiries across all global offices.
  • Support other finance and payroll-related projects as assigned.
  • Communicate regularly with international payroll providers to ensure compliance with local regulations and with HR on key updates.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of global payroll experience.
  • Strong experience with UK payrolls; experience with Germany, France, Spain payrolls is highly preferred; US experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of UK statutory payroll regulations.
  • Experience working with In House UK payroll systems preferred
  • Prior experience working with third-party payroll providers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, with strong skills in identifying data inconsistencies and errors.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a desire to drive change, simplify processes, and improve efficiency.
