About the role

We are on the lookout for our newest team member, someone with a growth mindset and a passion to help us succeed.

The People Partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leaders across the organisation. The position plays a lead role on project delivery as well as coaching and mentoring line managers, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery, and supporting organisation effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to strategy. The person will also use their skills in employee relations and local employment law experience to provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders as we work with our organisation in building a world class SaaS business.

This is a temporary maternity cover position, expected to start in August 2025 and run for approximately 6 months.

Main Responsibilities 
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism.
  • Leading the People Team initiatives, including role modelling great personal and team leadership and taking an active role in ensuring the organisational processes and policies are  embedded successfully.
  • Being a trusted local partner to the leadership team and employees.
  • Collaborating with the broader People team with a unified approach to deliver global People initiatives and organisational objectives.  
  • Using data and analytics to inform leadership of key strengths, issues and trends.  
  • Understanding, anticipating and advocating the need for change
  • Leading senior managers through change processes.  Providing thoughtful challenge and critical analysis to ensure that the process is run in line with legislation and best practice. Creating all the necessary documentation for change and project implementation with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Acting as an interface between your teams and HQ.  Providing feedback to the People leadership team.
  • Collaborating on workforce and resource planning. Drawing on resourcing expertise to fill vacancies.  Ensuring that effective recruitment strategies are in place. Ensuring that timely and accurate information is provided to the workplace team.
  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team and supporting managers to ensure inclusivity in the way we recruit, support and retain employees. 
  • Supporting ongoing organisational growth by identifying development opportunities and offering support for employees throughout Learning & Development programs.
  • In addition to focusing on a designated part of the organisation, this role will support the global leadership team.  The Team is responsible for the implementation of company-wide projects and People processes to deliver organisational improvements.
  • Embracing our feedback culture and talent management philosophy:  ensuring the performance management process is carried out effectively and efficiently, talent is recognized and that employees are able to improve their performance and contribute to the success of the organisation
  • Developing local action plans resulting from eNPS/Engagement surveys, influencing change at a regional level with managers and employees, and empowering them to take ownership and action initiatives
  • Promoting our mission, vision and values and bringing them to life from day one of employment and throughout the employee lifecycle
Essential Criteria 
  • 2 years of relevant HR experience (operational and tactical level). 
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
  • Experience in supporting, coaching and guiding leadership teams
  • Experience with Change & Project Management
  • Communications & Stakeholder management
  • Comfortable and interested in efficient use of People-systems
  • Professionalism and ethical behaviour
  • Experience of working in a cross functional team & agile environment
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in a global role and/or team
  • Experience of mergers and acquisitions 
  • HR Certification
