Job description

Executive Assistant

Runa is pioneering a first-of-its-kind payment rail that enables the seamless, global money movement at scale. Legacy banking and payment infrastructure struggles to support the demands of today's low-volume, high-velocity payouts, leading to inefficiencies in global payouts. Businesses worldwide send over $20 trillion annually in rewards, remittances, and disbursements often incurring costs of up to 50% per transaction and subjecting recipients to lengthy delays. Runa transforms this landscape by providing a new digital payments infrastructure that empowers businesses to send digital money instantly and cost-free to anyone, anywhere. The Runa API empowers thousands of businesses to make payments to 5 billion+ consumers in 190+ countries instantly to cards, wallets, bank accounts and gift cards. Leading companies such as Sodexo, TopCashback, Perkbox, Sweatcoin, Coinbase, and Globetopper rely on Runa to facilitate instant, flexible global payouts to tens of millions of consumers.

About the role:

We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our CEO, CMO, and CRO, three key leaders driving the future of Runa. You’ll be their organisational engine: managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring the right things are getting done, at the right time, by the right people. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our Executive Team focused and effective, creating structure, enabling pace, and acting as a trusted partner behind the scenes.

What Excites You:

  • Being the Organiser Behind the Scenes: You thrive on creating structure out of complexity, managing shifting priorities, packed calendars, and global schedules with clarity and efficiency.

  • Enabling High Performance: You get energy from helping senior leaders operate at their best, acting as a trusted partner who anticipates needs, removes blockers, and drives follow-through.

  • Owning the Details: From travel and expenses to meeting prep and project coordination, you take ownership of every task, ensuring accuracy, discretion, and high standards throughout.

  • Working Across a Fast-Paced Business: You enjoy being at the centre of a growing company, working cross-functionally and adapting quickly to change without missing a beat.

  • Finding Better Ways: You’re always thinking a few steps ahead and spotting inefficiencies, improving systems, and bringing fresh thinking to how things get done.

What Excites Us:

  • A Natural Operator: You bring structure, focus, and clarity helping our CEO, CMO, and CRO spend time where it matters most.

  • Leading with Trust: Your reliability, discretion, and sound judgment make you a safe pair of hands in high-stakes situations.

  • Delivering with Impact: Whether managing logistics or running with a project, you take ownership and drive outcomes without needing close direction.

  • Calm in the Chaos: You’re composed under pressure, able to pivot quickly, and always focused on what’s most important.

  • A Cultural Asset: You bring positivity, curiosity, and high standards—elevating how we work, communicate, and support one another as we scale.

Benefits:

  •  25 days holiday + government holidays

  • L&D allowance to invest in mastering your craft, including accredited studies. Plus 5 L&D days per year

  • 401K

  • Participation in the Employee Options pool giving you ownership in Runa

  • Cigna Healthcare and Guardian Dental Cover, plus Vision Care, Life Insurance and a range of other health and wellness benefits sponsored by Sequoia One

  • Runa Reset Days - Runa closes on the first Friday of each quarter for a well-deserved, Reset Day

  • Summer Hours - In the month of August, we log off at 3pm on Fridays.

  • Enhanced parental leave for all new parents, up to 16 weeks full pay
