Position Title: Integration Analyst
Location: Remote LATAM
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Analyst to join our dynamic team, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise software. As a critical member of our product team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement seamless integrations between our shipping and logistics software and third-party applications. The ideal candidate possesses advanced technical skills, a strong understanding of shipping and logistics, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Develop and perform technical integrations between logistic, ERPs and third party APIs platforms following established protocols.
  • Coordinate with the Product and Engineering teams to integrate third-party applications within our system, ensuring a seamless flow of data.
  • Translate third-party system mappings into our integration tools to support real-time data exchange.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams (such as QA, developers, onboarding) and external partners, to guarantee functional delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Administer integration tickets using Jira or other tools, to ensure technical clarity and SLA achievement.
  • Elaborate effort estimations and tasks prioritization in autonomous way. 
  • Document processes, decision, and technical configurations with clarity.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our product and the logistics industry over time.
  • Take a long-term view of the product, guiding short-term efforts to align with business goals.
  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products on time and successfully.
  • Break down business requirements into functional requirements as needed.

 

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Main Skills:
These are the must-haves that are essential for this position. 
  • Advanced proficiency in reading and understanding API documentation.
  • Advanced ability to translate API documentation into functional Postman Collections.
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting skills via email with external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with SaaS cloud-based solutions.
  • Basic proficiency with JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst for API integrations.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing
  • Secondary Skills:
These are additional skills that will help you succeed in this role. 
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining custom scripts for data transformations using languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of industry standards or protocols for data exchange, such as EDI.
  • Experience in the shipping and logistics software market.
  • Soft skills
  • Self-management and Accountability: Ability to work independently, adhering to schedules and committed deliverables without direct supervision.
  • Time Management and Estimation: Daily task organization, effective prioritization, and accurate estimates in dynamic environments.
  • Clear Technical Communication (Written and Oral): Ability to effectively explain decisions, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Operational Mindset: Ability to execute repetitive tasks consistently and rigorously, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Independent Problem Solving: The team is not expected to provide constant guidance or training; initiative and direct problem resolution are expected.
  • Discipline and Schedule Adaptability: Willingness to work PST hours or have sufficient flexibility to align with the client's time zone and workflow.
