A Business Development Associate at Argano is at the forefront of generating new leads and sales business opportunities through outbound prospecting and cold calling. They work with various departments and assist and support the sales team and other business development positions. Their primary responsibility is to identify and engage potential mid to large-sized prospect clients, introducing them to Argano's business and technology services. This role is instrumental in building a top of funnel robust sales pipeline and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. They attract new prospective clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships to convert them into new billable clients. Other responsibilities include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of prospecting campaigns, and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients to generate leads and opportunities.
Qualify leads based on established BANT qualification criteria and initiate follow-up actions.
Conduct market research and the identification of potential prospective clients.
Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, prospect presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach efforts with overall strategies for sequence email campaigns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and lead records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
Achieve and exceed individual targets for lead generation and qualification.
Stay informed about industry trends and Argano's service offerings.
Maintain corporate alignment and collaboration with Business Development, Marketing and Sales Leadership for a shared vision and overall execution of business development strategies.
Continuous execution of business development best practices and automated sales solutions such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Phone Dialers, and Salesforce CRM, etc.
Education
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, preferred.
Experience
0-2 years of experience in business development or outbound sales.
Proven experience in making cold calls to potential clients.
Basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach.io
