This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Process monthly bank feeds for multiple clients
Reconcile expenses, credit card statements, and clearing accounts
Assist with monthly account reconciliations
Handle bookkeeping tasks for clients in hospitality, e-commerce, and retail sectors
Manage and categorize transactions in Dext
Ensure accuracy and compliance with Canadian tax regulations
Use security measures when working and provide proof of use on the first day (details to be discussed prior to start)
Attend meetings on a semi-regular schedule
Collaborate with the Account Manager to maintain high standards of bookkeeping services
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
Experience with Dext is required
Experience in Keeper.app is a bonus
Understanding of Canadian tax regulations, especially for different provinces
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Good communication skills in English
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
Scope:
Part-time role, 20 hours per week
