Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly revenue recognition for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
  • Prepare and record general ledger journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Analyze customer revenue cohorts and research period over period variances in revenue and provide logical explanations for fluctuations
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, balance sheet account reconciliations (cash, AR, deferred revenue), journal entry support and appropriate detail for ad hoc analysis
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Billing processes as needed
  • Provide support for the annual audit process
  • Perform special projects and other general accounting services to support your segment(s) or the Company as needed
  • Other related duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • SAAS revenue experience preferred
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Strong users of MS Excel including pivot tables and use of formulas. Working knowledge of Workday Financials, or similar accounting system
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and articulate complex financial analysis in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving strategic business decisions
  • History of working effectively with both executives and peers
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, success-driven team environment
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects
