Marketing Data Executive - UK based Remote role

As part of our growth, we require a Marketing Data Executive to work in a remote position based in the UK. Please note you need to be currently located in the UK.


Role Description:

As the Marketing Data Executive, your role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data across marketing platforms, supporting performance reporting, and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations. You’ll also contribute to improving our processes and data workflows within HubSpot CRM. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaboratively with our HubSpot agency to support data-driven decision-making and improve the effectiveness of our campaigns.


Data Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Regularly clean and update marketing datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues such as duplicates, formatting errors, and incomplete records.

Marketing Data Support:

  • Help collect, organise, and integrate data from various platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot, email marketing tools, paid media).
  • Prepare and support the delivery of email performance and other marketing channel reports as required.

GDPR & Compliance Support:

  • Support GDPR compliance within marketing activities, ensuring data handling aligns with data protection regulations.
  • Work closely with the wider compliance team and Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure marketing practices reflect current GDPR requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of consent and communication preferences within HubSpot.

HubSpot CRM Management & Process Improvement:

  • Support day-to-day data management within HubSpot CRM.
  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to implement better segmentation, tagging, and automation practices.
  • Help document processes and maintain data hygiene best practices in HubSpot.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a dynamic Marketing team being responsible for data across a range of marketing platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manage large data sets
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot (or similar)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding data hygiene, accuracy, and formatting
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the improvement of marketing systems and processes
  • Proactive, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to work

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of GDPR compliance in the context of marketing and sales data
