Location: Remote - Colombia

What you will be doing:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex features for cloud-based applications. You will focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while adhering to best practices in coding and architecture. Working within a collaborative product engineering team, you will contribute your expertise across the full-stack environment and help drive engineering excellence, you will have to:

Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex features and functionality for our applications, ensuring they align with best practices and architectural patterns.
Code Quality and Maintainability: You will write clean, high-quality, and maintainable code that adheres to established guidelines, contributing to the long-term health of the codebase.
Technical Leadership: You will actively participate in technical discussions, helping the team identify optimal solutions to technical challenges and ensuring the team maintains engineering excellence.
Cloud-Based Solutions: You will build and maintain scalable cloud-based applications, utilizing a variety of AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
Automated Testing and Deployment: You will implement automated testing strategies and deployment pipelines to ensure the efficiency and quality of the development cycle.
Issue Resolution: You will help troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the product.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

5+ years of advanced experience with AWS Services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, with expertise in executing Lambda functions using Node.js 22.x.
Proficiency in TypeScript and cloud infrastructure management with CloudFormation.
Familiarity with Git for version control and Mac OS as a development environment.
Experience or knowledge of Gen AI and its integration within development processes.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
Expertise in unit and integration testing using modern testing frameworks.
Experience with building RESTful APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and BitBucket, and experience managing CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills:

Exposure to AWS Bedrock and LangChain for advanced AI solutions.
Experience with Full Stack development, particularly Vue.js.
Proficiency in using BitBucket Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Knowledge of Azure Entra ID for identity management.
