What You'll Do
The
Manager, Accounting
is responsible for supervision of the reporting and accounting functions. The primary responsibilities include preparation of the monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and reporting packages and ensuring compliance with the Hospital’s internal control policies and
procedures. This position requires interaction with management, staff, auditors and other outside agencies.
Review all general ledger entries and reconciliations for network.
Maintain the general ledger system.
Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.
Review monthly and annual financial statements.
Prepare analysis and related journal entries for GL accounts outside of treasury.
Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Train and supervise accounting staff.
Assist in development of operating budget.
Responsible for monitoring compliance with grant reporting requirements.
Review monthly profit and loss statements.
Education
What we need from you
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, required
Experience may be considered in lieu of education
Experience
Minimum of 2 years supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in a healthcare industry, required
Licensure/Certification
CPA certification, preferred

Pay Range
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.
