Job Overview: Strategic Program Manager with extensive experience overseeing large-scale projects and programs for federal healthcare agencies, skilled at aligning program delivery with agency missions to improve health outcomes, operational efficiency, and public service impact. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of the project and program management lifecycle, meeting objectives, and delivering outcomes that align with the organization’s goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement program plans, strategies and objectives that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Understand the requirements and expectations of all internal and external stakeholders. Maintain effective communication utilizing strategies, plans, and tools with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and address concerns.
Project Oversight: Provide guidance and direction to project managers and team members. Implement and manage the processes to ensure work streams are developed, monitored and progress communicated throughout the project life cycle. Take corrective actions when necessary to resolve any team and customer issues.
Resource Allocation: Assess the necessary resources required and allocate them effectively. Optimize resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Risk Management: Identity and assess any protentional risks associated with the program. Develop strategies and contingency plans to eliminate and resolve any risks.
Budget Management: Manage the program budgets to ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately. Monitoring costs and expenditures and report the financial performance.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain progress reports and status updates to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain program documentation, plans, schedules, and all related documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Develop continuous improvement initiatives within the program allowing for optimization. Foster a culture that promotes learning and innovation for all team members.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to all members of the team. Maintain a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Quality Assurance: Ensure quality practices are identified and implemented on all aspects of program delivery and stakeholder engagement. Incorporate the highest quality of standards and adhere to internal guidance, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Business Development: Assist BD team in efforts as needed and provide expertise and knowledge of program and project management.
