Job Title: YLM22H - REMS Project Manager

The REMS Project Manager is responsible for the management of large-scale projects to envision, define, create, and operate Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS). The responsibilities include but are not limited to, project planning, directing, and managing project execution, vendor management, monitoring and documenting project work, scheduling all project activities, and hosting and leading project team meetings. The PM is accountable for ensuring that all workstream plans are effectively and efficiently executed and delivered successfully against expectations while remaining on time and on budget. The PM is responsible for providing necessary updates and input into status report meetings to support the successful coordination of internal and external project resources. The PM is also responsible for facilitating, enforcing, and documenting adherence to the project charter and governance rules.

Specific job duties:

  • Management of large-scale projects to envision, define, create, and operate Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS).
  • Project planning creating timelines for projects and ensures all milestones are met, flagging any warning areas.
  • Ensuring all documents are saved on the shared file server and records up to date. Manages shared email boxes, providing clarity and responses. Keeps clients updated on program non-compliances and coordinates CAPAs and approvals. 
  • Monitoring and documenting project work, tracking client decisions, collecting annual assessment data/tables, meeting with clients and/or vendors.
  • Scheduling of all project activities; and
  • Hosting and leading project team meetings and creates meeting agendas/slides
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade. 
  • Ensuring all workstream plans are effectively and efficiently executed and delivered successfully against expectations while remaining on time and on budget.
  • Providing necessary updates and input into status report meetings to support the successful coordination of internal and external project resources.
  • Facilitating, enforcing, and documenting adherence to the project charter and governance rules.
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS)
  • Pharmacovigilance Experience 
  • Client Management Experience 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
