Role Name: Social Media Specialist

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM 1 hour unpaid lunch break

Job Description

As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind our brand’s digital voice and online community engagement. You’ll craft compelling narratives across platforms like Pinterest and TikTok, turning our products into must-have items and our brand into a household name. This role offers an exhilarating opportunity to blend Hawaiian-inspired aesthetics with cutting-edge digital marketing strategies, directly contributing to our ambitious goal of growing our online presence from $1 million to $1.5 million in sales. You’ll work with a passionate team, translating our in-store magic into scroll-stopping content that resonates with audiences far beyond our island shores.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that amplify our brand voice across multiple platforms, with a focus on Pinterest and TikTok
  • Create a steady stream of engaging, on-brand content that showcases our products, tells our brand story, and drives customer engagement
  • Manage our social media calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic presence across all platforms
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to customer inquiries and feedback with the warmth and aloha spirit our brand is known for
  • Analyze social media metrics and user behavior, using these insights to continually refine and improve our social media strategy
  • Stay at the forefront of social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, incorporating new features and tactics into our strategy
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing, e-commerce, and in-store teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints
  • Develop and nurture relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and authenticity
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, with a particular focus on Pinterest and TikTok
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging, visually appealing content across various social media platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and experience using this data to drive strategy and results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt our brand voice across different platforms and audiences
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics and current fashion trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus
  • A passion for staying updated on the latest social media trends and platform changes
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to experiment with new content formats and strategies
