Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as  Cybersecurity Engineer.

Compensation:
USD 800 - 2K/month.

Location:
Remote (anywhere).

What makes you a strong candidate:
  • You have 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • You are proficient in NIST CF (NIST Cybersecurity Framework), ISO/IEC 27001, IDS (Intrusion detection system), and SIEM (Security information and event management).
  • English - Native or fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:
  • Design, implement, and manage robust security policies, controls, and best practices. 
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud environments. 
  • Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing. 
  • Integrate security best practices into all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). 
  • Monitor network and system activity for anomalies and respond to security incidents. 
  • Deploy and manage security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection. 
  • Provide security guidance and training to internal teams. 
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Professional with over 3 years of experience in a similar role in the field of cybersecurity, with a solid background in implementing protection measures, vulnerability analysis, and security incident management in both on-premises and cloud environments. 

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption methods, and network security.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
  • Proficient in conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration tests. 
  • Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a strong plus.
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:
  • Certifications in Atlassian tools or agile methodologies.
  • Experience in consulting and implementing Atlassian solutions.
  • Knowledge of additional add-ons such as BigPicture, Tempo, and EazyBI.
  • Experience with ITSM, PPM, Lean/Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban processes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
