Job description

Ready to be a Titan?

As a Voice Network Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the ServiceTitan communication platforms during their regular operation. Additionally, you will be part of the team that plans and improves our voice network infrastructure. This position is a critical bridge between our infrastructure and telecom teams, providing real-time operational data and insight into the stability of our product.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting of voice networks
  • Collaborate with support specialists to resolve customer escalations Review voice network statistics, metrics and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the platform
  • Interface with third-party vendors of telecommunications solutions regarding troubleshooting and configuration issues
  • Perform interoperability testing for telecommunications solutions
  • Monitor and perform maintenance on the communication components of the ST application
  • Be a part of the on-call rotation for monitoring the communication components of ServiceTitan

What you'll bring:

  • An understanding of the SIP protocol, including the ability to diagnose and correct call flows.
  • Experience with WebRTC and NAT traversal troubleshooting is a plus. Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switches and OSI network layers Experience with VLANs, subnetting, and firewalls
  • Experience with PBX / IVR routing concepts
  • 2+ years experience with supporting telecom carrier operations
  • 4+ years of work experience in a VoIP engineering position, preferably at a VoIP provider Understanding of how to diagnose and correct infrastructure and network interconnectivity issues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $124,400 USD - $166,400 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
