IT Technical Writer

The IT Technical Writer will support a high-profile Department of Veterans Affairs program by developing and maintaining technical documentation for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM systems. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical processes into user-friendly documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain SOPs, manuals, and architectural documentation for Power Platform/D365 solutions.
• Translate complex cloud integration, security configurations, and role-based access settings into comprehensive guides.
• Collaborate with solution architects and developers to accurately document system configurations and lifecycle updates.
• Ensure alignment with federal documentation standards and accessibility compliance.
• Support proposal writing and contribute to architecture design artifacts.
• Maintain a library of process flows and configuration documentation for enterprise use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field.
• 7+ years in technical writing for IT or federal systems.
• Experience documenting Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Familiarity with document control platforms and CMS tools.
• Strong understanding of user roles, security setup, and cloud-based platform documentation.
