Job Description:

The Marketing Project Manager (MPM) is accountable for the design and execution of key activities (promotional events, promotional materials,…) and projects (Apollo projects…)  within the assigned Therapeutical Area/Brand across Saudi Arabia and will be a key catalyst for the achievement of the business results.

The MPM will report to the Business Unit Leader and will work in close collaboration with all Commercial members including field teams. The MPM will be accountable for achieving the key proposed metrics for each activity and project that he will be responsible for and will strongly contribute for achieving key business metrics (Market share, Patient share, Business Plan target etc.) with the cluster value team collaboration. 

Duties & Responsibilities: Main interactions & Reporting:

  • Develop, execute and evaluate the marketing plans and support it, leading certain initiatives, making informed choices at key milestones
  • Strategic collaboration with key Commercial members, like marketing, medical affairs, market access, regulatory affairs, PSP, PAP and BI
  • Support the BUL and brand managers in tasks and activities to implement and execute on the brand strategy
  • Build a positive and growth mindset relationship with key Commercial stakeholders (including field teams) to support the implementation of strategic actions and identify commercial opportunities
  • Build and analyse customer journeys to Identify customer needs and expectations and create innovative commercial activities and initiatives
  • Understand the importance of making choices in identifying the key messages for external audiences
  • Draft brand’s benefits and positioning, and how it dictates the marketing strategy, decisions, plans and supporting materials
  • Support the creation of marketing materials in alignment with the brand strategy Support with IMR approvals & uploads, Omnichannel materials creation & execution, Vendors scanning and shortlisting
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure that all compliance requirements are fulfilled (iConnect, contracts, logistic aspects…)
  • Support BUL on the budget (annual brand spend) tracking
  • Support the BU management and governance
  • Support the BU internal communication (newsletter, TA specific, disease awareness). Develop messaging that is relevant and engaging for audience when delivering internal presentations
  • Analyze data from a range of sources. Understand scenario analysis and know how to interpret key data and identify possible actions for the future
  • Network with peers to understand best practices and lessons learned within the organization
  • Know the tools we use to track and report our brand’s equity as well as our business and apply the results of my analysis to shape priorities
  • Identify and socialize key performance indicators to measure the success of a given initiative
  • Build collaborative external partnerships that will deliver brand strategies and increase J&J Innovative Medicine’s competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with the people who work with and be able to bring individual goals together to develop a shared vision of success
  • Learn about how our organization works and how decisions get made to increase influence

  • Main interactions: Cross functional interactions with BUL, Brand Managers, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, CoE, Supply Chain, Finance, Management Board, external stakeholder
  • Reporting to the Business Unite Lead KSA

Qualifications - Internal

  • Life Sciences or business-related bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years industry/ business experience, within different functional areas, sales, marketing, medical and/or market access with proven cross-functional leadership without authority.
  • Fluency in Arabic & English language is required.
  • Strong in building bridges and alliances across functional and regional boundaries in order to deliver value.
