JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description

The Manager, Business Analytics will be responsible for the ongoing analysis, monitoring and reporting of business and consumer KPIs with the purpose of driving incremental Net Sales/EBITDA. The role will use transactional, market, and media data to better know the consumer, how to influence them in the right places and times to drive strategic advantage.  This role will lead analysis efforts at better understanding trade areas and competitors to identify new areas to win, measure impact, and uncover findings to improve business performance that propels the business forward.  The ideal candidate is a solutions oriented, creative problem solver that is able to partner with internal stakeholders to leverage data, answer strategic business questions, gain alignment and buy in from cross-functional working groups, and make recommendations to the business to maximize revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead ad-hoc analyses to guide decision-making on design of future strategies and products by identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions.
  • Present to executive leadership to drive decision making by developing collateral that articulates complex details into simple, persuasive, and thoughtful stories.
  • Strong understanding of business principles to lead management on strategic initiatives and guide analysis.
  • Provide real time support to the Take 5 leaders thru data insights, data visualization and ad-hoc reporting
  • Support business KPI reporting and analysis
  • Continuously work with data engineers to analyze/improve data quality and communicate new insights to senior leadership  
  • Develop and facilitate strategy, decision and execution of system wide changes
  • Understand business trends with the ability to pin point driving variables

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
  • 5+ years related business analysis experience and/or training
  • Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Including intricate knowledge not only of advanced formulas (such as index-match), but also excel problem solving abilities to extract analysis and insights out of data dumps.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL to write complex queries to extract data from multiple relational databases
  • Practical experience in analyzing data, program metrics and performance metrics for the purpose of pinpointing business opportunities
  • Possess strong financial modeling, strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong listening, presentation, and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to translate data into actionable initiatives and present a complete business plan to senior level management
  • Excellent planning, organization, presentation, time management and work ethic
  • Self-motivated, proactive, business savvy, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Compensation Range:

$92,500.00 - $165,100.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
