Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Software Applications Tester, Journeyman to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is remote. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field.
3 – 10+ years of experience in developing and executing test plans for software systems to include unit, integration, regression, smoke, and operations-based testing and developing robust data analysis sets to fulfill the appropriate test rigor for specific testing.
Experience in Java and familiarity in other programming languages such as C#, SQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
3+ years of experience in automated testing software such as Selenium.
Experience with Atlassian Jira or similar issue and project tracking software.
Experience with Atlassian Confluence or similar knowledge management software.
Active DoD IAT II certification

Duties:

Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Document software and application defects in Jira software or other agreed upon issue tracking software and report defects to the software developer.
May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, and product designs.
Work with the DevSecOps Engineer and other team members to implement and provide input into automated test.
