Job description

Merchandise Manager NAM (all) As Merchandise Manager NAM you will focus on B2C channels including e-commerce, digital marketplaces (including Amazon), physical stores, and uniform programs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for our consumer-facing products, ensuring optimal inventory levels and maximizing sales. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to drive forecast accuracy and support strategic business decisions. The ideal start date for this role would be June 1, 2025 or by agreement. Your responsibilities Demand Forecasting Own omni-channel in-season reforecasting Assist in developing and refining demand forecasts using statistical modeling techniques. Emphasis on B2C channels including e-commerce, digital marketplaces (including Amazon), physical stores, and uniform programs This role may entail regional focus on Canadian B2B business Analyze historical sales data to identify trends and patterns Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand future demand drivers Merchandise Management Analyze inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstocks by channel and product group Assist in developing and implementing inventory policies Responsible for SMU product planning and management Maintain minimum stock levels for Amazon and physical stores Data Analysis Analyse sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to identify patterns and insights Provide weekly reporting on inventory levels and stockouts for responsible channels Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and tools Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for demand planning Develop tools to manage specific channels and work the resulting data into team planning processes Your profile 2+ years in a merchandising, planning, and purchasing role, preferably in the outdoor industry Experience with digital channels and brick and mortar retail Experience with Amazon retail preferred Basic understanding of outdoor market (preferably in backcountry ski and/or climb) Acute attention to detail and highly analytical Expertise with Microsoft Excel and managing dataset from diverse sources Experience with Power BI or similar as well as with ERP Systems MSD365 preferred Benefits of working at Mammut Access to company plans for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Participation in a Company sponsored 401K plan Employee discounts on Mammut products Generous Company holiday schedule Pay $75 - $85K plus annual bonus
