Product Specialist II

Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION The Product Specialist II is involved in the strategy, roadmap, and portfolio, joining the Thermostat Product Management Team within the Resideo Product & Solutions offering. This role will collaborate with all cross-functional teams, overseeing the development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future. This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, tactical skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking, a strong drive for getting results. At the end of the day, we make some cool things for our customers, protecting what matters most. JOB DUTIES : Portfolio optimization & sustaining activities (including pricing, deal maintenance, promotions, product end of life). VOC (Voice of Customer) investigation. Roadmap and budgeting collaboration. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) preparation and product launches. Market research to assist in defining product strategy, including competitive analysis P&L financial performance throughout the entire product lifecycle. Cross-functional team partnerships within sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and more. Other duties as assigned or required for product management. YOU MUST HAVE: 2+ years of relevant product experience in consumer or manufacturing driven industries. Proven track record of delivering extraordinary results in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Ability to draw insights from multiple sets of information. Ability to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and fosters understanding. WE VALUE : Bachelor’s degree: Business, Marketing, or similar etc.; MBA is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results in a timely manner. Critical thinking, creativity, & curiosity. Attention to detail and analytic skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Organization and time management skills. Team-oriented but can work independently as needed. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Passion for working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
