Vice President of Sales and Business Development
to join their team in
Alvin, TX.
As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, you are responsible for achieving top line growth by being the primary voice of the customer within the business. You will drive sales with strategic accounts to meet annual targets, help shape and execute the company’s strategic plan, and achieve financial goals. This includes building strong customer relationships, identifying sales staffing needs, and serving as the liaison between customers and the company.

What You Will Do.
Own and exceed annual sales targets with specific key accounts.
Ensure accurate customer sales forecasting within the system.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
Report on external forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
Execute product pricing strategies as agreed with Portfolio Management.
What We Are Looking For.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
5+ years of experience as a sales executive, sales manager, sales and marketing director, or a related field required.
Proven sales executive capable of driving the business to meet or exceed targets.
Experience leading the sales process from planning to execution.
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of the company vision, products, and services.
Excellent listening, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience in industries that use sulfonic acid or their derivatives, such as lubricants, additives, grease, metal working fluids, corrosion inhibitors, oilfield production chemicals, and oilfield stimulation and drilling products is a plus.
