Job description

The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our team. It is highly recommended experience in Life Science business. He/She will be responsible for sales in a specific territory of Lazio. He/she will report to the Regional Sales Manager - Central South Italy.

Avantor is looking for a dynamic and driven Account Manager (m/f/x) to join our unique commercial team, covering the Lazio region. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Life Sciences and a passion for consultative sales and relationship building. Experience in the Public sector is highly recommended. The candidate must be based in the Lazio Region.

 What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years in B2B solution-based sales, preferably in scientific or complex environments
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Identify new opportunities, manage your territory proactively, and create meaningful interactions that drive business growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and use CRM tools to track engagement, forecast sales, and optimize performance.
  • Execute strategic plans while managing existing accounts and winning new ones.
