Description
This position provides both direct and distribution sales support for a targeted region. This position requires multi-tasking and timely completion of tasks in coordination and collaboration with the Sales Support and Operations teams. The Sales Specialist position is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through new customer acquisition and market penetration.
This position is intended to cover the territory including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
** Candidates must reside in the Pacific North West **
Key Responsibilities
Conducts sales calls on end-user customers to determine their compressed air needs and provide the appropriate FS Curtis solution
Engages in prospecting activity to identify, qualify, and create relationships with end-user stakeholders
Funnels equipment and aftermarket business through a local authorized FS Curtis distributor
Evaluates potential distribution partners to determine suitability for inclusion into the FS Curtis Distribution network.
Acts as the compressed air subject matter expert for the region
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Computer skills required: Working knowledge of the latest Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Firm commitment to excellence and high standards
Strong verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
Minimum 3 years industrial sales experience
Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with other departments and leadership
Excellent time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at a time while meeting deadlines
Ability to work autonomously
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities
Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment
