Pay range and compensation package Grade 16, Full time, exempt position, $114,086.11 - $159,720.56 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience. Benefits package available. PERA position. Travel Travel to Minnesota for organizational meetings or events, potentially 2 times per year. About the Role The Director of Presentations and Education is accountable for presentation and education functions within the event marketing team. This position will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of customized presentations for external educational opportunities to increase revenue and brand awareness. A key responsibility of this role is building, nurturing, and managing strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and success across all initiatives. The Director will lead opportunities focusing on program visions, strategies, planning, and managing the development, integration, implementation, reporting, and performance of overall programs, with the expectation of delivery on time, within budget, and to scope to support organization revenue goals. Responsibilities Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve organizational and revenue goals. Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a given area or department to achieve revenue goals. Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for presentations and education to identify relevant stakeholders, to develop positive stakeholder relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice. Plan and manage the delivery of projects within an area of professional expertise, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved in support of our organizational and revenue goals. Oversee the team of individuals that plan and lead the delivery of a range of information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activities and specify, negotiate, and agree on project deliverables. Accountable for management of dentification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these matters where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these concerns. Oversee the negotiation and deployment management of project resources including budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization. Manage the delivery of assurance reviews within a project, enable the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified, to give senior stakeholders confidence that the project can deliver. Interpret the organizational needs and identify solution recommendations to organizational problems. Drive a culture of innovation by creating multistakeholder solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration across the organization, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons. Manage within a transformational change program, ensuring integration with related projects; to build acceptance of change and to embed desired culture and behaviors. Clarify roles and responsibilities within the project team and ensure project compliance with the organization's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes. Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization of organizational benefits. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Qualifications Bachelor’s in marketing, business, public relations, communications, or related field AND eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in marketing and events marketing OR a combination of post-secondary training, professional education, and related experience equivalent to twelve (12) years Demonstrated experience managing external agencies and vendors Public speaking and presentation experience Budget design and management experience Experience in strategic planning Experience with developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan Experience with brand management Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years) Application Process Sourcewell is currently accepting applications from all states, except the following: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
