Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales in their designated territory by developing and executing a sales strategy. The RSM will focus on identifying and qualifying leads, presenting MaxVal’s suite of IP products and services, and consistently closing business on a monthly and quarterly basis to meet or exceed annual sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales with legal experience, be skilled in solution selling, and capable of building relationships, demonstrating product solutions, and managing the sales pipeline from start to finish. This is a remote role, and candidates can work from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Quota Achievement:
Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Prospecting & Lead Qualification:
Skilled in prospecting, deal qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for your designated territory.
New Business Development:
Drive the development of new revenue, with little to no recurring revenue responsibility.
Customer Relationship Management:
Foster strong relationships with prospects and customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Ongoing Education & Training:
Engage in continuous product and market education to remain competitive.
Collaboration with Senior Staff:
Interact with senior staff at Global 2000 companies and collaborate with other MaxVal team members.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, with legal sales experience being essential.
Proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
Expertise in solution selling to Global 2000 firms.
Experience in complex solution selling and closing deals over $100k.
Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
Skills:
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to present and communicate technical solutions clearly and concisely.
Strong understanding of business concepts and how technology solutions can address customer pain points or create opportunities.
Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
