Job description

At Included Health, we believe that great design is key to transforming healthcare. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer for our Growth & Engagement team, helping us expertly communicate our value proposition and optimize the journey that brings members into our digital experience.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with designers, product, engineering, and marketing to run experiments, optimize conversion flows, and shape the future vision of how we engage members. Our authentication and coverage system is complex, and we need a designer who thrives in solving intricate problems and making them feel simple.

As a seasoned designer, you’ll bring a strong point of view, exceptional craft, and the ability to drive ideas forward. You’ll own the design direction for your team, mentor others, and advocate for design excellence while balancing rapid iteration with long-term vision.
If you’re passionate about growth, experimentation, and designing seamless, high-converting experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Design for Growth & Engagement:
  • Own the end-to-end design of how we communicate our value proposition and guide members into our digital experience.
  • Design and optimize conversion flows, balancing rapid experimentation with a long-term vision for a seamless, engaging experience.
  • Simplify complex systems, making authentication and coverage verification intuitive and frictionless.

  • Drive Experimentation & Innovation:
  • Run A/B tests and rapid iterations, using data and insights to refine and improve engagement strategies.
  • Explore new ways to communicate our value proposition, leveraging storytelling, motion, and interaction design.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to the team.

  • Leverage AI & Rapid Prototyping:
  • Use AI-powered design tools (e.g., v0.dev, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Onlook, Spline) to build, test, and iterate on high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Experiment with AI research tools (e.g., Maze, Rally, Marvin) to quickly test competing concepts, draw insights, and make informed design decisions.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, recommending and knowledge-sharing best practices with the team.

  • Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a product designer, with at least 2 years working on growth, engagement, or conversion-focused experiences.
  • Experience using AI-powered design and research tools to accelerate prototyping, testing, and iteration.
  • Strong expertise in interaction design, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality, high-converting experiences.
  • Experience designing and optimizing complex flows, ideally in authentication, onboarding, or coverage verification.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment, balancing quick iterations with long-term vision.
  • A strategic mindset, able to connect design decisions to business outcomes and advocate for the right solutions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to synthesize complex ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Proactive and self-guided, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive initiatives forward.
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other highly regulated industries where complexity needs to be simplified.

  • Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
