• Senior Resource: The role requires senior resources capable of strategic thinking and technical leadership.
• Solution Design Focus: A primary responsibility is solution design, ensuring a clear definition of the purpose, scope, and implementation of solutions.
• Understanding Architecture: A fundamental requirement is an understanding of architecture to design effective solutions.
• Technical Design Skills: Specifically within the loyalty and rewards product domain, there's a need for someone with skills in solution architecture and technical design.
• Integration Knowledge: The Solution Architect needs to understand how loyalty platforms integrate with other systems, including orchestration platforms, mobile apps, and potentially payment systems.
• Data Acumen: Given that data is a "hairy problem" for our client, experience with data and how it relates to loyalty programs will be critical. This includes understanding data objects and potentially building pipelines and rules.
• Platform Understanding: A strong understanding of our client's core digital experience platforms is essential. This includes Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/AE), Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP) (which is becoming the system of record for member engagement), and Salesforce (used for CRM). Knowledge of Snowflake as the enterprise data platform is also relevant.
• Vendor Awareness: Familiarity with relevant vendors in the loyalty and payment processing space (e.g., Tesus, BIW, Stripe) is beneficial.
• Healthcare/Regulated Industry Experience: While not explicitly stated for this specific role, experience in healthcare or other heavily regulated industries (like insurance or banking) is generally emphasized.
