Job description

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager at PointClickCare, you contribute to the vision and strategy of your product area, which will be our content management capabilities, define and own roadmaps, and drive execution and delivery of compelling value to users and customers, ensuring overall success across the entire product portfolio.

You deeply understand the needs of our users and customers, internally and externally. You will leverage your expertise to drive innovation in content management, improving user experience and engagement. You have a track record of refining and evangelizing a vision, and solving customer problems, from discovery, to implementation, to delivery.

You bring a collaborative approach to this leadership role to ensure successful outcomes for our customers, while optimizing time to value. You approach your work with natural curiosity and use your growth mindset to maximize ROI for your products.
 

Key Responsibilities:

•Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to understand current and future customer and user needs and pain points. 
•Understand company strategy and contribute to strategy and multi-year roadmap for your product areas, to achieve strategic outcomes and increase wallet share. 
•Prioritize product investments and tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and good judgement to create a compelling business case and quantify return on investment. 
•Work closely User Experience, Engineering, Technical Writers, and other product managers leveraging modern agile processes and Design Thinking and ensure concepts are valuable and feasible. 
•Liaise with Software Commercialization, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other functions to ensure successful product launches and releases.




Your Key Strengths:

•Skilled multi-tasker with ability to work through ambiguity and derives energy from a complex, dynamic, and challenging environment.
•Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, or a healthcare-related field of study.   
•5+ years of Software Product Management experience 
•Proven track record of managing products, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products. 
•Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders 
•Solid understanding of Agile practices is required and familiarity with Design Thinking is a plus.
•Experience managing B2B SaaS products
•Prior experience managing commercial software products through the entire software development lifecycle.
•Relevant direct experience in the clinical domain—focus on nursing care and/or the Senior Care market preferred
•Strong skills communicating effectively with internal and external stake holders, both orally and in writing. 
•Working knowledge of standard clinical concepts/terminology e.g. SNOMED, LOINC, UMLS and other applicable standards.
•Solid track record of managing large product lines, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products with great user experience.
