We are seeking a driven, curious, and data-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Commercial team. This role will support the sales organization in delivering wins with our target clients, combining strategic content development with active prospecting and lead generation for our sales organization. You'll be responsible for analyzing high-value target accounts and identifying targets, partner across teams to create compelling sales materials & deliver customized outreach campaigns, and directly support commercial leaders. The ideal candidate will excel at both researching potential clients and crafting persuasive content, consistently driving new opportunities while helping our team engage prospects with differentiated messaging and insights.
ResponsibilitiesUse Simbe materials to develop compelling, insight-driven presentations that challenge traditional retail thinkingCreate and customize sales materials that transform customer conversations, help prospects understand unexpected opportunities, and articulate how Simbe’s value propositions directly address prospects’ challengesOptimize GTM processes by ensuring Sales follow-ups, creating feedback opportunities for Sales & Marketing, reporting on reasons for outcomes, and overall strengthening our commercial abilitiesWork with marketing & sales to build & deliver content that demonstrates deep industry expertise and new perspectivesGenerate and qualify leads through targeted research and prospectingConduct deep company research to identify key decision-makers, stakeholder priorities and strategic opportunities, and partner with Sales and Marketing on outreach strategiesSupport outreach efforts for events and campaigns including pre-event preparation (including lead gen) and post-event follow-upExecute tailored outreach strategies for different customer segmentsPartner with marketing to track engagement metrics and optimize approach based on resultsAssist with coordinating executive meetings and presentationsHelp maintain pipeline of opportunities across target accountsMap connections across target accounts to existing contactsHelp maintain CRM data quality and completenessTrack key sales metricsSupport sales team with basic reporting needs & connect with marketing on how to streamline reporting & operationsOrganize and categorize prospect informationContribute to regular reporting on commercial activities and performance; partner with marketing & sales leads to optimize processes & toolsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Revenue Operations, or related field1-3 years of experience in sales support, business analysis, or consulting / PE or IBExperience conducting deep company research, identifying decision-makers and lead generationClient-facing experience in professional settingsPassion for developing solutions to client needsStrong written and verbal communication skills; excellent time management and task follow-throughProficiency with presentation software and content creation toolsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCritical thinking capability that challenges conventional wisdomPreferred QualificationsExperience with Salesforce or other CRM systemsExperience creating compelling pitch materials and presentationsExperience creating thought-provoking content that reshapes customer thinkingDemonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narrativesKnowledge of retail industry and/or roboticsStrong research skills with ability to identify emerging trends and opportunitiesExperience with data enrichment tools At Simbe, you will be at the forefront of retail innovation, working with cutting-edge AI and robotics technologies to transform retail operations.
