Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Team. This position will lead projects from initiation to completion ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

The ideal candidate will have led large federal contracts, will have in-depth experience within the Department of Veterans Affairs, and have experience with the UNANET financial system. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large technical programs and have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Coordinate program execution in line with strategic goals and resolve team issues proactively, and effectively.
• Contract Oversight: Oversee subcontractor performance and invoicing, ensuring compliance with all terms, deliverables, and staffing qualifications.
• Financial Management: Monitor burn rates, EAC, and program budgets using UNANET or similar tools, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts
• Stakeholder Communication: Participate in client meetings and managing expectations to build strong relationships.
• Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance and invoicing, ensuring compliance with all terms, deliverables, and staffing qualifications.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
• Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with HR and recruiting to ensure staffing plans meet contract requirements and project needs.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience managing federal contracts (Department of Veterans Affairs experience strongly preferred).
