Job description

The Contract Administration Analyst (CAA) reviews and manages contracts for CPSI and its subsidiary companies (collectively the “Company”). The CAA participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products and/or services. The CAA evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations. The CAA requests or approves routine amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. The CAA prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids. The CAA is tasked with managing customer correspondence and updating support related data in customer profiles; providing reports and analyzing data and as a subject matter resource for customers and internal employees; and preparing routine customer agreements.

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensure all contracts meet the business needs of the Company.
  • Ensure the interests of the Company are well represented and protected.
  • Maintain/organize resources necessary to ensure timely completion of contract review.
  • Prepare routine customer contracts.
  • Process contract-related mailings.
  • Process customer support terminations and making corresponding updates in customer profiles.
  • Review and respond to internal and customer contract-related questions.
  • Provide support for third party contract reporting.
  • Generation of internal reports as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • High school diploma or applicable customer service/business office experience.
  • Some secondary education in a related course of study.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in within the college of business or other applicable work experience.
  • Some legal knowledge and/or applicable experience.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and synthesize legal language and documentation
  • Proficiency in drafting written content that adheres to legal style, tone, and formatting conventions
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on clarity, consistency, and legal accuracy
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in clear, concise language
