As our Director of L&D, you will shape a strategy that elevates skills, accelerates careers, and strengthens our culture of continuous improvement. You'll work closely with senior leaders, HR partners, and subject matter experts to create learning journeys that align with our business goals and meet employees where they are.

What You'll Do:
  • Build and lead a company-wide learning and development strategy that drives employee engagement and business performance.
  • Design leadership development programs and high-potential employee initiatives that support career growth and succession planning.
  • Oversee onboarding, technical training, compliance training, and professional development efforts across departments.
  • Partner with HR, department heads, and executive leadership to identify skill gaps and deliver tailored learning experiences.
  • Manage our Learning Management System (LMS) and curate a dynamic, accessible course library.
  • Measure training effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance outcomes to continuously enhance our programs.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of L&D professionals (where applicable) and drive a culture of innovation in learning.
  • Stay on top of L&D trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to our organization.

 


What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years in Learning & Development, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing successful company-wide learning and leadership programs.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and modern learning technologies.
  • Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) and creating engaging e-learning programs.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and facilitation skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as CPLP, PHR/SPHR, or PMP are a plus.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $143,000 - $173,000, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.

Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
