Job Summary

This Systems Engineer III will be responsible for helping to maintain and enhance our Windows-based infrastructure and M365 environment, as well as supporting our network resources.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to our National Support Center.
Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems.
Monitor and optimize network performance and security.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Acts as a liaison for initiatives and new technologies, ensuring effective communication with users and help desk support

Cloud:

Manage and administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services, such as

Exchange Online,
SharePoint Online,
Teams,
Defender 365
OneDrive.
Intune/Autopilot

Manage and administer a hybrid domain (Entra ID and Active Directory)
Manage Azure SSO

Data Center:

Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems and servers.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Manage virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
Manage and administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Networking:

Manage and maintain infrastructure resources such as firewalls and network switches.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

5+ years as a Systems Engineer role demonstrating experience in the above listed responsibilities and expectations.
Any certifications related to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Security, or network administration.
Understands the OSI model
Experience with data center switches is preferred
Familiarity with data center-to-cloud interconnectivity is advantageous

The successful candidate will have proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role. They will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Remote

Pay Range expected for the position: $90,000-$110,000 annually.

The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate.
