Job Title:   Program Manager

Reports to: Director, Program Services

Location: Remote

Job Status: Full-time, Exempt

This position assists in the day-to-day management of CCS insights and engagement education programs and medical communications programs. The position will support the development of virtual, live, and hybrid programs with a variety of tasks from program kick-off to post-program completion. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Program Management:
    1. Manages and executes multiple programs within assigned product offering to ensure all aspects are delivered on time, within budget, and of the highest quality. Working cross functional teams: account management, science, and other assigned stakeholders
    2. Serves as the product expert to deliver high quality experience and execution
      • Can work in any product vertical, as needed
    3. Understand program-level objectives and ensures program execution meets the objectives and expectations. 
    4. Applies critical thinking to develop and manage project timelines, based on the scope and delivery date. Align with account management on overall timelines to meet the client expectations
    5. Collaborates effectively with internal shared services, external vendors and partners to provide exceptional services and deliverables to our clients
    6. Acquires and maintains knowledge of assigned clients' MLR process, standards, and timelines, stay attuned, and communicates changes to the process. Manages the MLR submission and approval process for assigned projects (if required)
    7. Faculty recruitment and relationship development (when required)
    8. For assigned Activeer projects: HCP attendee qualification (live/virtual)
    9. Establishes credibility and trusting, respectful working relationships
  • Communication:
    1. Establishes and facilitates good communication and information sharing between the various team members
    2. Provides team with regular project updates and leads discussions for efficiencies to support quality and on-time delivery
    3. Provides program information to project stakeholders and to the clients as needed
  • Critical Thinking / Problem Solving:
    1. Displays critical thinking to solve challenges and problems, and consistently develops scenarios, and promotes solution-based alternative and align on strategy w/ management
    2. Identifies best practices and efficiencies within the identified product offering(s)
  • Financial responsibility:
    1. Manages program against budget, and to revenue recognition goals.
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 2-3 years’ experience within project and/or account management
  • Knowledge of and skills in managing program life cycles
  • Skill and ability in budget development
  • Basic understanding of project financials

 

Travel/Hours Requirements: 

  • Up to 25% of the time
  • Domestic and international travel
  • Position requires work outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends
