Job Title: Finance Officer / Assistant Finance Manager
Location: Philippines or India (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Hong Kong Time)
Compensation: USD $3,000 – $3,500 per month (based on experience and assessment)
Reporting To: Head of Finance, Hong Kong Office

We are a global investment manager with offices in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Zurich, focused on identifying and executing investment opportunities in the technology sector. Our platform manages capital raised from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our finance team with a driven and detail-oriented professional.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Officer or Assistant Finance Manager to support our growing finance operations. This role is integral to ensuring our corporate accounting and reporting processes run efficiently and meet the highest standards. You will work closely with the Head of Finance in Hong Kong and collaborate with team members globally to drive accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain full sets of books across multiple group entities.

  • Support and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance and consistency.

  • Lead or assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
    Oversee audit and tax filing activities for corporate entities, including coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.

  • Monitor updates in accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS).

  • Assist with monthly payroll processes for multiple international operating entities.

  • Provide occasional updates and reports to shareholders, including high-net-worth individuals.

  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and project support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, ideally within the financial services, private equity, or venture capital sectors.

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, HKICPA, CPA) preferred.

  • Solid understanding of corporate accounting practices, with experience across multi-entity environments.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Intuit Books) and financial reporting tools.
    Advanced Excel skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
    Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a high standard for work quality.

  • Ability to thrive in a small team setting and manage multiple competing priorities.

NIce-to-haves:

  • Experience working in lean, fast-paced, and international environments.

  • Familiarity with venture capital or private equity operations is a plus.

  • Proactive, hands-on, and flexible mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Energetic and positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
