Purpose Statement

Manage all facets of business development for the assigned region. This position is accountable for Corporate customer relationships, sales and execution of Rich’s priorities for the Christie Cookie Co. brand in the region. This is remote, U.S. based opportunity 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

 

  • Achieves region sales targets by identifying and developing new corporate customers while managing exiting ones  ​
  • Supports Christie Cookie Co. DTC (direct to consumer) growth by planning and attending trade shows and sales meetings ​
  • Establishes clear, reasonable, and achievable objectives for each Corporate customer and assure that objectives are met on a timely basis. Adjusts objectives to suit changing business and market conditions.​
  • Develops key relationships with key customer contacts that help serve the good of the Rich’s business.
  • Ownership and accountability for region finances, including invoice payment, and deduction management.​
  • Maintains files and records in the CRM tools that are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.​
  • Maintains budget for expenses, maintains expenditures within budget with variances adequately accounted for, and submits expense reports monthly.​
  • Submits planning schedule, weekly and monthly reports, market proposals, and quarterly/monthly forecasts that are complete, timely, and accurate.​
  • Completes and submits monthly/quarterly objectives for self and territory​
  • Informs Director of progress, problems, opportunities and marketplace or plan changes.​
  • Establishes satisfactory management relationship with Inside Sales Representatives, taking into account all goals and opportunities. ​
  • Work closely with customer service to ensure orders are processed in timely fashion  and customer needs are met
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Five plus years of progressive sales or business development experience in developing new sales opportunities and managing key customers; direct customer engagement is desired
  • Experience in the corporate gifting industry strongly preferred 
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly desired 
  • Hunter mentality and persistent ; aggressive attitude while still being sensitive to the needs of others and able to draw those needs from customers
  • Technical savviness and ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office, Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • CRM experience required, specifically Salesforce is a plus
  • 50% travel in their region  #LI-RT1

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$109,589.96 - $164,384.94
