We are on the hunt for a Technical Project Manager for web to join our Engineering Team who has a knack for Agile project management, software implementation, budget management, and both technical and non-technical communication. The ideal candidate has an appetite for relentless improvement and is a champion of Agile/Lean practices that achieve delivery flow. As a tenured PM, you will be the linchpin of our efficiency, scalability, and team culture. You will achieve this by working alongside the technical leaders to continually build a safe and trusting team culture where we approach hard problems with a solutions-mindset and a “learn through doing” environment. In this role, you will:
Own end-to-end project planning and execution for technical initiatives supporting our website and platform teams.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define requirements, scope MVPs, and build realistic roadmaps.
Anticipate and mitigate risks across engineering, QA, design, and data dependencies.
Drive sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and delivery tracking across cross-functional squads.
Translate technical risks and tradeoffs into clear business implications for stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure Jira and project artifacts are up to date, transparent, and auditable.
Help improve internal delivery processes, tooling, and stakeholder communication.
Track key metrics (velocity, cycle time, delivery predictability) and help teams continuously improvement
About you:
You speak tech and non-tech. You do this even better with people in the room who only do one or the other and love the challenge of creating a common language.
While you are a part of the Engineering Team, you have a knack for developing a deep understanding of the complexities of all parts of a business.
You are passionate about project management and solving problems through the power of technology.
You have seen enough to know there’s not a one-size-fits-all solution and excited by the opportunity to combine your skills with KCL’s needs and build from there.
You are equal parts numbers and narrative. Analytics are a key driver for you, as are relationships and the way your processes make people feel.
You would describe yourself as a learner who has a growth mindset.
You have a minimum of 6 years' experience as a dedicated Scrum Manager or Technical Project Manager on one or more Agile development/engineering teamsYou have solid knowledge and experience with Jira and the Atlassian suite
Bonus Points, but not required:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
Preferred SAFe Agilist, or other SAFe/Agile/Lean certifications
