Job description

At Medical Web Experts, we specialize in custom software solutions for the healthcare industry. We’re currently seeking a skilled freelance mobile developer based in Latin America to take ownership of an existing mobile application built in Kotlin and Swift for a high-profile healthcare client.

This is a freelance, remote opportunity with flexible hours. The workload will vary based on project needs, so we’re looking for someone with the availability to step in as needed and move quickly when required.

Candidates must indicate their hourly rate in their application.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance a mobile application built with Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS)
Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to improve app performance
Implement updates and new features based on business and technical needs
Work collaboratively with our internal team and client stakeholders
Ensure quality, responsiveness, and stability across both platforms

Requirements:

Proven experience in mobile app development, either Native or with the tech stack mentioned above
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (Spanish and/or English)
Based in Latin America and available to collaborate with teams in US time zones
Bonus: Experience with healthcare applications or HIPAA compliance
