The Associate Director, Strategic Growth will play a key role in driving the organization's expansion by developing, managing, and closing new business opportunities. This individual will collaborate closely with marketing, client services, and executive teams to build strategic partnerships, deepen client relationships, and support long-term revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong sales acumen, a passion for mission-driven work, and experience navigating complex, consultative sales cycles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Assist with outreach initiatives including prospecting, networking, and attending key industry events.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into viable sales opportunities.
  • Create and implement sales plans aligned with organizational growth targets.
  • Develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Assist with negotiating contracts and managing the deal process through to closure. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and industry influencers.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their goals and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects and sales activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Analyze pipeline data to track performance against targets and generate regular reports.
  • Share insights and feedback with leadership to inform business development strategies.
  • Work with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and content strategies to drive the lead generation.
  • Partner with Solutions and Delivery teams to align client needs with offerings.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to team-wide growth initiatives.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, strategic growth, or consultative sales roles preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Experience in the nonprofit, marketing, or fundraising sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. 

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with additional commission opportunities available.
