Overview
Join Ingram Micro as a Development Executive, where you'll drive category success by combining AWS expertise, Marketplace knowledge, business acumen, and powerful platform data insights. You’ll cultivate strong partner and vendor relationships, unlock new business opportunities, and build comprehensive solution offerings that drive growth across your territory or customer base.
This is a strategic, high-impact role with visibility into the evolving landscape of platform and cloud marketplaces.
What You’ll Do:
Category Strategy: Build and execute category-specific growth strategies aligned with emerging trends and customer demand.
Business Development: Uncover and drive new opportunities within existing partners through strategic alliances and new customer acquisition.
Vendor & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong vendor and partner relationships, negotiating favorable terms to accelerate category performance.
AWS Integration: Apply your AWS expertise to develop and position cloud solutions that support go-to-market strategies, technical enablement, and partner value.
Managing Growth of the Marketplace Business: Own the strategy and execution plan to scale marketplace offerings, increase transaction volume, and expand partner participation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams—including sales, marketing, product management, and operations—to align goals and maximize results.
Customer Engagement: Directly engage with customers to understand needs, gather feedback, and influence product improvements.
Portfolio Expansion: Collaborate with product teams to expand or refine the solution portfolio based on market trends and customer demand.
Solution Selling: Build holistic, multi-vendor solutions that address customer needs across the full technology stack.
What You Bring:
Marketplace experience must be well-versed in digital or cloud marketplaces.
Must have strong understanding of AWS services, solution selling, and cloud strategy is essential.
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
High school diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
6+ years of strategic sales, outside sales, or account management experience (preferably in tech or distribution) OR 4+ years in technology-related customer service or sales roles.
Proven success driving new business growth and managing complex sales cycles.
Strong knowledge of strategic selling, project and order management, and operational best practices.
Skilled in negotiation, pipeline management, forecasting, and P&L concepts.
Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical and business value clearly to diverse audiences.
Technically savvy, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel for partner and customer engagements as required.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $67,300.00 - $114,400.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
